Schools and districts with an existing School Courier agreement or an active proposal keep their current terms. This offer covers your school inside the shared School Courier community app; dedicated standalone apps and district agreements are quoted separately.
How schools pay
Annual by PO, ACH, or check — save 5%
The way most public schools prefer. Prepay the school year and pay $2,610 for year one ($3,705/year after). We handle POs, invoices, W-9s, and vendor registration — no credit card ever required.
Monthly on a card
Simple and flexible — $250/month in year one, $325/month after. Cancel anytime and billing just stops.
Districts: 3+ schools
$250 per school per month in year 1, then $300 per school per month after — all on one invoice, every school with its own space, calendars, teams, and news inside the app.
Most schools don’t pay this themselves.
Your app includes a built-in supporter program: hometown businesses sponsor a page in your app, and their contributions offset — or fully cover — your monthly cost. Two or three local supporters is typically all it takes. We’ll show you exactly how to set it up.

Absolutely — we work the way school offices do. Pay annually by PO, invoice, ACH, or check (and save 5%), no credit card required. We’re happy to complete vendor registration, W-9s, and any paperwork your district needs.
What happens after the free month? expand_more
Your first month is free and starts when your app goes live — not when you sign up, so setup never eats into it. After that, it’s $250/month for the rest of your first year. Pay monthly on a card, or prepay the year by PO/ACH/check and save 5%.
Will the price ever go up? expand_more
From your 13th month, the rate is $325/month, protected by our Price-Lock Promise: your rate can never rise more than 3% in any school year — and never mid-year. No surprise renewals, no "year three" jump.
Do we have to sign a multi-year contract? What if we want to cancel? expand_more
Never — there is no contract and no cancellation fee. On monthly billing, cancel anytime and billing simply stops at the end of the month. An annual prepay runs through the school year (that’s the trade for the 5% savings) and simply doesn’t renew unless you want it to. If you’re unsure about committing, start monthly. We think earning your renewal every month beats locking you in for three years.
We’re a district with several schools — what does it cost? expand_more
Districts with 3 or more schools get one invoice and pay the same introductory rate per school in year one; from year two it’s $300 per school per month instead of $325. Every school gets its own space inside the app — its own calendars, teams, staff, and news. Fewer than 3 schools are simply $250/month each.
Is it a separate app just for our school? expand_more
Families download the free School Courier app from the App Store or Google Play, pick your school once, and from then on it opens straight to your school — your logo, your colors, and only your news and notifications. It behaves like an app of your own without the app-store overhead. If you’d like a standalone app published under your school’s own name, ask us about our dedicated-app upgrade during setup.
